Job Overview
Akron Children's Heart Center seeks a full‑time pediatric cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging (CT, MRI, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography). The successful candidate will join a well‑established group expanding the services of the Heart Center team.
ResponsibilitiesClinical work will be focused on imaging, but candidates will also participate in inpatient general pediatric cardiology service and outpatient clinic. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to teach medical students and pursue other academic pursuits.
Required Qualifications- MD or DO with board certification in pediatric cardiology
- Board eligibility/certification in pediatric cardiology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio
- Clinical expertise in cardiac CT and MRI (required). Experience with fetal echocardiography is beneficial but not required.
