This locum tenens Hematology/Oncology role at a large health care system in Akron, Ohio offers an opportunity to provide specialized outpatient care to adult patients. Clinicians will work Monday through Friday managing a daily caseload of 14 to 18 patients with no call responsibilities. The position requires board certification and utilizes the EPIC EMR system for all documentation.
Practice Info
- Operates as part of a large health care system with multiple cancer center sites
- Provides specialized hematology and oncology services to the regional adult patient population
- On-site outpatient setting
- Solo position covering both hematology and oncology
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage
- Conduct patient exams
- Develop treatment plans
- Prescribe chemotherapy
- Handle documentation and billing
- Manage 14-18 patients per day
Shift & Schedule
- September 21, 2026 - 6 to 12 month contract
- Day Shift
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No call required
Requirements
