Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students at two educational sites within the greater Akron, OH area. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a unique split between two distinct locations, each with its own dynamic and varied caseload. Youll play a vital role in empowering children from kindergarten through 12th grade to reach their highest potential both in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
- Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with a diverse K-12 student population
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to seamlessly balance responsibilities across two locations
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to students in both Lorain (K-8, approx. 18 students) and Parma (K-12, approx. 24 students)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Develop, execute, and monitor individualized intervention plans based on student needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and re-evaluations to guide therapeutic interventions
- Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in accordance with established protocols
- Engage in team meetings, providing valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
- Travel flexibly between assigned sites as part of your regular schedule
