Akron Public Schools is seeking a School Counselor to support the academic, career, and social/emotional growth of students. The role requires valid State of Ohio licensure and a Professional Pupil Services License. Candidates must have experience working with diverse populations and at least three years of experience in an educational setting.
The counselor will work closely with school principals and provide services such as interpretation of achievement data, community resource coordination, and consultation services. This is a non-public position with a limit of 24 hours per week.
