A reputable language school in Akron Ohio is seeking a dedicated and qualified English teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing their English skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop lesson plans and share resources.
- Stay updated on current teaching methodologies and incorporate them into your lessons.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
- Bachelor's degree in English Education or relevant field.
- Teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL qualification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching English as a second language is an asset but not required.
- Passion for teaching and working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Native or near-native proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer competitive pay starting at $1400 per month.
