Adjunct Instructor of Biology

Job Summary

The Department of Biology in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in Biology. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Biology will be considered.

This individual will serve as the instructor of record for introductory Biology courses, Anatomy & Physiology I & II laboratory courses, or other courses as assigned. Typical assignments include one or two courses each semester, depending on student demand.

The successful candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, as well as interest and ability to mentor students both inside and outside the classroom. Candidates with experience teaching undergraduate, introductory Biology courses are encouraged to apply.

Master’s degree in Biology or 18 hours graduate coursework in Biology is required. Those with a doctorate in Biology and experience teaching Biology at the university level are encouraged to apply.
