15 hours/week (including evenings/weekends)

• Implement educational programs and activities that engage diverse audiences in Idea Machine during Museum open hours.
• Visitor Engagement:
  Engaging with visitors to facilitate learning and enhance their museum experience. This may include greeting groups, demonstrating projects, providing creative guidance, and answering questions about the museum’s collections and exhibitions.
• Collaboration:
  
  Working closely with other museum staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the successful delivery of educational programs and events.
• Training:
  Undergoing museum staff training as assigned by HR and L&E managers.
• Evaluation:
  Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs, adjusting as necessary to improve visitor engagement and learning outcomes.
• Maintaining Idea Machine Gallery:
  Educating guests on how to use hands‑on materials within the gallery, replenishing hands‑on supplies as needed, and reporting any misuse of gallery items to the Educator of Youth and Family Experiences and the Curatorial Department.
• Assisting with other Learning & Engagement programming as needed.

• High School Diploma Required.
• Experience developing and delivering educational programs in a museum or similar setting.
• Experience working with children is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A degree in education, museum studies, art history, or a related field may be beneficial but is not necessary.
