Part-Time Tutor for English as a Second Language (ESL) - Akron

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESL tutor to join our team in Akron As a part-time tutor you will be responsible for providing one-on-one English language instruction to Filipino students who are looking to improve their language skills This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and has experience working with non-native English speakers

• Develop individualized lesson plans based on the students needs and skill level
• Conduct engaging and interactive lessons that focus on grammar vocabulary pronunciation and conversation skills
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their language skills
• Utilize various teaching techniques and materials to make learning enjoyable and effective
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their childs progress
• Keep track of attendance and submit monthly reports

• Bachelors degree in Education Linguistics or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as an ESL tutor or teacher preferably with Filipino students
• Fluency in English Tagalog proficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Patient understanding and passionate about teaching non-native speakers

We are offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this part-time position

The tutoring sessions will take place in Akron USA However due to the current COVID-19 pandemic online tutoring may also be required
