Tutor for English Language Learners in Akron, Canada

We are seeking a patient and dedicated Tutor to provide one-on-one instruction to English language learners in Akron, Canada. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and be able to tailor their lessons to meet the specific needs of each student.

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with English language learners
• Assess students' current level of English proficiency and create personalized lesson plans
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills to improve overall proficiency
• Use a variety of teaching techniques and materials to engage students and facilitate learning
• Monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed
  
  Provide feedback and support to help students reach their language goals

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching ESL or tutoring English language learners
• Fluent in both English and Canadian French (preferred)
• Knowledge of ESL teaching methods and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, flexible, and able to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
• Must be willing to work with diverse populations

This position offers a salary of $1300 per month.
