** English Tutor

This position is well suited for an experienced educator, retired teacher, or recent graduate who is passionate about helping students strengthen their English language and literacy skills.### Essential Responsibilities
* Contribute to student instruction and academic advancement by demonstrating competence in English and related subject areas.
* Develop and implement lesson plans and study strategies tailored to individual student needs.
* Guide students toward curriculum goals and help prepare them for exams and assignments.
* Build meaningful connections with students by creating a friendly, encouraging, and welcoming learning environment.
* Provide learning opportunities that support students' intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
* Assess, measure, and document student development and progress.
* Collaborate with teachers to strengthen instruction, enhance student learning, and share responsibility for positive student outcomes.
* Participate in ongoing professional development.### Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Valid Ohio teaching license or substitute teaching license.
* Prior tutoring experience in a school setting preferred.
* Ability to effectively use school technology, including academic software and Google tools.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Successful completion of criminal records checks through the
