TypicalResponsibilities Include:
- Effectively communicate course objectives, requirements, and expectations to students using weekly announcements.
- Facilitate interactive and dynamic discussions while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Utilize appropriate technologies and online platforms to deliver course content and engage students effectively.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, papers, and classwork to guide student learning and success.
- Maintain regular and consistent communication with students through online channels, such as email and discussion forums.
- Ensure adherence to the course syllabus, academic policies, and established curriculum guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, including grading assignments, exams, and other assessments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in departmental meetings as required.
- Provide support and guidance to students, addressing their academic needs and concerns promptly.
- Complete all required institutional training and maintain regular communication by checking and responding to email consistently.
- Master's degree in communication or related discipline with at least 18 graduate credits in Communication.
- Experience in college-level teaching is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to develop and implement innovative approaches to the learning environment.
- Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function effectively and productively on team‑based initiatives is critical.
- Ability to use technology, including MS Office programs and internet‑delivered materials, is required.
