Responsibilities
- 30 - 50% Perform research and testing procedures including generating professional technical reports and providing data analysis for SPSPE personnel and for outside contracts.
- 30 - 50% Train students in polymer processing and polymer testing
Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree with preference for a Graduate Degree.
ExperienceRequires a minimum of 4 years of working in the field of Polymer Processing. Good communication skills and proper knowledge in the use and maintenance of polymer processing and polymer testing equipment.
Physical RequirementsConsiderable physical exertion required involving bending, stooping, crawling, climbing, lifting or carrying heavy items (over 50 lbs.
-- 75 lbs.) and periodically (up to 1/3 of time) working in difficult or awkward positions.
Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems. Near continuous use (>70% of the time) of a video display terminal.
