Overview

Building Automation Systems (BAS) Service Technician

Location:

Akron / Cleveland, OH

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain BAS and HVAC control systems in commercial buildings
• Diagnose control, network, and communication issues across BAS platforms
• Perform system checks, point-to-point verification, and controller replacements
• Support system startups, upgrades, and expansions on existing systems
• Work with engineers and programmers to resolve complex system issues
• Interface with customers, explain findings, and recommend corrective actions
• Document service activities and maintain accurate service records
• Support on-call rotation as needed

• Experience servicing building automation or HVAC control systems
• Strong understanding of DDC controls, sensors, actuators, and field devices
• Familiarity with BACnet and IP-based networks
• Ability to read control drawings, sequences of operation, and wiring diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills

• Experience with platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, Tridium, Distech, Alerton, or Delta
• Electrical or controls-related education or certifications
• Experience working in healthcare, education, or commercial facilities

Salary: $30 - $45 per hour
