Responsibilities- You’ll provide construction inspection and administration services for roadway, bridge, and municipal infrastructure projects.
- You’ll observe and document contractor operations to verify compliance with plans, specifications, ODOT standards, and approved traffic control.
- You’ll prepare accurate daily inspection reports, quantity measurements, and supporting documentation for pay estimates.
- You’ll review contractor schedules and coordinate daily activities with contractors, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- You’ll verify field surveys, materials placement, and construction methods.
- You’ll coordinate and oversee third-party materials testing and special inspections.
- You’ll identify potential change order issues and provide supporting documentation and input to the project team.
- You’ll maintain organized project records, including photographic documentation.
- You’ll monitor labor compliance requirements as applicable.
- You’ll upport overall project delivery and perform related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering/Management from an ABET-accredited program OR ODOT prequalification as a Project Inspector in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of professional experience with transportation construction activities including:
Concrete construction, Earthwork, excavation, and grading, Pipe installation, Pavement markings and signage, Hot Mix Asphalt construction, Maintenance of traffic / temporary traffic control
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Ohio
- Project Inspector I and/or II Certification
- Construction Engineer Level I Certification
- Project Structures Inspector Certification
- Traffic Signal and Lighting Inspector Certification
$35 - $48 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
