- 2-5 years of experience in the drafting of civil/structural projects.
- A vocational or an associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD), or the equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of the design and layout of structure foundations, steel framing, concrete/wood/light gauge metal/masonry framed structures.
- Ability to develop standard design layouts that consider and incorporate requirements from other engineering disciplines to create a coordinated, unified design.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within civil/structural field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform daily functions.
- Prepares design layouts in compliance with engineering design and applicable code requirements that consider constructability, completeness and presentation.
