JR--You will directly supervise Industrial Engineers and manage plant Industrial Engineering related activitiesa. Directs the activities of the Industrial Engineering Departmentb. Uses various accepted industrial engineering techniques to conduct research studies and other special studies in an effort to control and reduce production costs.c. Performs various general duties, such as; advising Plant Engineering Manager on alternate solutions to specific problems, coordinates projects at the plant level, directs and coordinates cost Reduction Projects.

-You will makes decisions to resolve disputes arising from wage payment and/or Standard Practices. Settles disputes and/or grievances arising prom piece rates, wage payments, and standard practices.

-You will prepare Activity Reports for Plant Management advising management personnel of status of all projects underway by the Industrial Engineering Department.

-You will prepare (in conjunction with Plant Engineering) the yearly Capital Expenditure Program. Prepares financial analysis of all appropriation requests that will result in cost savings by use of Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Payback Period Analysis, etc.

-You will assist the Cost Accounting Department in preparing the yearly Profit Plan by gathering information on standard labor costs and uses this data to monitor the Direct Labor Variance Report. Serves as liaison between production departments and Cost Accounting Department, on matters of proper labor accounts for special activities and information reported on the Direct Labor Variance Report.
