We are a small, but fast-moving civil engineering firm that designs commercial sites for recognizable national brands like 7 Brew, Chick-fil-A, and Burger King
, plus commercial developers and large residential subdivisions across multiple states.
This is a full-time on-site role for a motivated Civil EIT or junior civil engineer located in Akron, OH. The Civil EIT will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings and plans for civil engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating site plans, performing erosion control design, and managing stormwater and stormwater systems. The role involves collaborating with team members, adhering to project specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This is a strong opportunity for a younger engineer who does not want to spend years only doing redlines or small pieces of projects. You will work directly with experienced engineers, gain exposure to full site design, and learn how real projects move from concept through approvals and construction.
What you’ll work on- Grading plans
- Storm sewer and drainage design
- Utility layout and coordination
- Erosion control plans
- Site plans and construction documents
- Projects for national brands and local developers
- EIT preferred
- 0–5 years of experience preferred
- Civil 3D experience preferred
- Interest in site development, commercial work, and land development
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Someone coachable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
