What You Will Do:
Perform technical reviews of capital and maintenance projects, ensuring designs meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
Develop, review, and update engineering standards and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, construction, integrity, and compliance) to resolve field issues, support projects, and improve system performance.
Perform engineering activities related to measurement and regulation (M&R), including meter selection, sizing, troubleshooting, and data analysis to ensure measurement accuracy and system performance.
Assist with internal and external corrosion control programs, specifications, data analysis, and interpretation of applicable codes and standards.

Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
2+ years of relevant engineering experience in engineering design with a preferred focus in Gas Utility Engineering.
Solid foundation and application of engineering principles, theories, and fundamentals, supported by relevant professional experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret codes, regulations, and standards.
Effective planning, organizational, and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
Experience with natural gas transmission and/or distribution, specifically for pipeline and facilities designs and associated packages is an asset.
Physical Demands (Include but are not limited to):
Grasping, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds are required. The role also involves reaching above shoulder height, repetitive motions, typing, sitting, and standing. Visual abilities include seeing screens, recognizing color codes, and reading fine print. Hearing and prolonged computer use are also necessary.

Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral or written instructions or information. Understand complex problems and explore alternative solutions collaboratively. Coordinate thoughts and ideas into clear terminology. Prioritize and coordinate work schedule on a short-term basis.
