Utility Infrastructure Drafting Specialist — AutoCAD
Where:
Akron, OH (local talent only) |
Schedule:
Onsite, 5 days/week | Duration: 12 months
- Assemble inspection packets: review checklists, print sets, and organized folders for field inspections.
- Develop and update gas pipeline design drawings in AutoCAD.
- Operate in SAP to create VCU’s spanning transmission, storage and gathering, and high- to low-pressure distribution projects.
- Research project records: interpret field notes, property documentation, and digital (scanned) files; validate with SAMS (GIS).
- Issue electronic vendor requests for Basemaps and pipeline design needs.
- Submit online requests to Environmental and Land groups to maintain project momentum.
- Compile company records to support creation of comprehensive project folders.
- 3–5 years of drafting/design experience.
- AutoCAD proficiency and an eye for constructability.
- SAP familiarity plus strong Microsoft tools, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of gas/utility/construction practices.
- Onsite collaboration in Akron, OH—5 days a week for rapid feedback and faster delivery.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
