Civil Engineer

We are hiring a skilled Civil Engineer with a specialization in Structural Design to join our team in Akron. As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing construction projects. Your main focus will be on structural design and ensuring the safety and stability of buildings, bridges and other structures.

• Conduct site investigations to gather data for project planning
• Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-aided design software
• Analyze site conditions and calculate load‑bearing capacities to determine appropriate structural designs
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure project feasibility and compliance with building codes
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and provide solutions
• Monitor construction progress and provide technical support as needed
• Conduct quality control checks on materials used in construction

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design within the construction industry
• Proficiency in computer‑aided design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
• Effective communication skills to work with a diverse team

Salary: $1500 per month
