Senior Practice Engineer – Water/Wastewater (Hybrid)

Are you a seasoned engineer driven to make a meaningful impact on communities and the environment? ms is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer with deep water/wastewater industry knowledge to join our growing water team. This position is a hybrid role and can be based out of one of our Ohio offices in either Columbus, Youngstown, Cleveland or Akron, Ohio.

As a senior member of our water business unit, you will lead and contribute to impactful projects that design, enhance, and sustain water and wastewater infrastructure for diverse public and private clients. • Water Treatment & Distribution
• Wastewater Treatment & Collection
• Water Supply Storage Facilities (Upground Reservoir)
• Pump Stations
• Hydraulic Modeling (Sanitary & Stormwater)

• Strong self-motivation and commitment to continuous professional growth
• Proven accountability and high technical standards
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Advanced critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to mentor junior staff and support technical development within the team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field
• Professional Engineering (PE) License

• Extensive water/wastewater design experience
• Experience with process modeling or hydraulic modeling software preferred
• Prior experience with task or project management is a plus
