The University of Akron invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Practice in Civil Engineering with an anticipated start date in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and oversee associated laboratories.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a PhD in civil engineering or a closely related field; PE licensure is desirable and curriculum development, mentoring, and service are expected.
