The Events Specialist is a full-time position responsible for planning and executing the logistical and technical operations of estate events, rentals, productions, and internal functions. This role oversees event layouts, setup and teardown, A/V production, entertainment coordination, transportation operations, ticketing support, vendor management, and event documentation while ensuring safety, historic preservation, and a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop event layouts, floor plans, tenting, staging, seating, and site logistics.
• Coordinate event setup, teardown, A/V, lighting, sound, and entertainment vendors.
• Supervise bus drivers and manage guest transportation logistics.
• Oversee ticketing coordination, vendor agreements, and Certificates of Insurance.
• Provide on-site operational support for events and ensure compliance with safety and preservation standards.
• Maintain event records, communicate with staff and vendors, and support departmental operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related degree or certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in event production, hospitality, logistics, or stage management.
• Knowledge of event layouts, basic A/V systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and flexible schedule.
