BOOM! Theater, a Broadway World Award winner, is seeking a Stage Manager for its upcoming holiday production of A Christmas Carol at the Knight Stage in Akron. Directed by Warren Scott Friedman, Produced by Val Renner.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up rehearsal space
- Be on book for actors
- Write rehearsal and performance reports
- Track props and furniture needed
- Serve as a primary contact for cast and crew
- During tech and performances: run projections backstage, manage props/furniture presets, monitor noise levels
Organization, great communication, patience, flexibility, and being a team player.
REHEARSALSSundays-Thursdays. Rehearsals begin approximately 6 weeks before opening.
TECH WEEKPERFORMANCES- Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 at 7:00pm
- Sundays December 6, 13, 20 at 2:00pm
Paid flat fee.
