Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing financial transactions and records. You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a direct hire position with standard business hours:
Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. In office then after training can work 1-2 days/week ase apply TODAY if you are interested!

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

- Process payments to vendors, promoters, and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

- Calculate and settle financial obligations after events, including ticket sales and promoter payouts.

- Collaborate with external accounting firms to address higher-level financial tasks.

- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency in processes.

- Prepare and review detailed financial reports for internal use.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other financial management software.

- Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial transactions.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
