FunctionAssumes responsibility for ensuring the effective and efficient support of the Business Banking process.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinates the workflow for Business Bankers by ordering and reviewing commercial bank document packages throughout the underwriting and closing process. Maintains adequate documentation to ensure compliance of bank policy with regards to proper collection of all necessary notations, forms, agreements, and signatures of commercial loan documents.
- Communicates verbally or via email with Business banking customers and all associated parties, both internal and external; including attorneys, title companies, and insurance companies involved in the loan closing process to resolve questions regarding information submitted during the underwriting process. Communicate with the borrower and all associated parties, both internal and external, to resolve outstanding issues regarding booked and closed loans.
- Opening business deposit accounts, Support related operations including but not limited to setting up business online banking and account maintenance
- Assist Business Banker with funding loan closings including but not limited sending wires, and requesting checks
- Communicate with bankers and business partners throughout the loan process to gather and verify required documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of lending requirements.
- May assume some lending responsibilities for Business Bankers, in their absence, including attending closings as a representative of S&T Bank.
- Performs other responsibilities related to the Business lending process as required.
- Assists the Business Bankers with the tracking and completion of commercial loan documentation and financial exceptions.
- Assists the Business Bankers (within their scope of responsibility) with loan advances, disbursements, and construction draws.
- May assume some lending responsibilities for Business Bankers, in their absence, including attending closings as a representative of S&T Bank.
- Provides consistent, superior quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds S&T Bank's standards.
- Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
- Prepares, monitors, and maintains reports used for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Supporting BDO with ncino maintenance.
Requires a high school degree, plus specialized training or a two-year degree in a related business field.
ExperienceTwo to five years general experience. Up to one year specialized training.
Physical DemandsThis work can be performed at multiple locations. Operates a keypad device 80-90%, operates electronic equipment 80-90% of the day. Traveling 20-30% to alternate work locations, 0-10% overnight stays required. Primary parts of the body involved include fingers, thumb, hand, wrist, elbows. Reaching above the shoulders 0-10%, standing 10-20%, sitting 80-90% of the day. This work can be performed with reasonable accommodations
