Position Overview

As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Akron, OH at the Portage Lakes Branch. Responsibilities- Acquire and grow the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
- Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community Centers of Influence to increase customer share of wallet.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
- Deliver a full PNC conversation with each client to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
- Leverage technology, tools, and resources to educate customers on managing transactions.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
- Manage risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Participate in daily branch operations to ensure efficient and accurate completion.
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role.
- Associates degree or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of banking products, customer service, and proactive sales.
- Strong problem‑solving, multitasking, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to leverage technology and communicate effectively.

Base salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. Incentive eligible based on performance.
