Overview

Marketer
- Non-Medical Home Care

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Director of Operations

Location: Northeast Ohio Territory

Position Summary

The Marketer is responsible for driving referral growth and admissions, expanding community presence for the non-medical home care agency. This individual will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including waiver case managers, discharge planners, social workers, assisted living communities, senior centers, hospitals, and healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly motivated, knowledgeable in home and community-based services, and comfortable operating in a growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Referral Growth
  • Develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with waiver case managers, Medicaid managed care organizations, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community partners
  • Increase referral volume within assigned territory
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new referral partnerships
  • Conduct consistent in-person visits and follow-up with referral sources
  • Track and report weekly referral activity and outcomes
Community Outreach
  • Represent the agency at community events, networking meetings, and health fairs
  • Deliver professional presentations outlining agency services and capabilities
  • Build partnerships with senior living communities and other long-term care providers
Marketing Strategy
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing plans to achieve census growth goals
  • Collaborate on messaging and promotional materials
  • Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and territory analysis
  • Help refine targeting strategies to attract qualified waiver and private-pay clients
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with state, federal, and payer regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of referral contacts and follow-up activities
Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, home care marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs and managed care organizations required
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-directed with the ability to meet growth objectives
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
