A leading emergency medical transport organization in Akron is offering a PAID Apprentice program to educate candidates for the National Registry Exam to become licensed EMTs. The accelerated program lasts 6 weeks and includes clinical and ride time. Students will be compensated during class hours. Successful candidates may be hired with salaries ranging from $34,185 to $49,740 based on shifts.
Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old, holding a valid Ohio Driver's License, and having a high school diploma or GED. Applications are accepted until mid-May for the June 2026 class.
