Travel Pediatric Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift (Tracheostomy & Ventilator Care) | Akron, OH

Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in the home as a Travel Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) on 12-hour night shifts . In this pediatric homecare role, you’ll support medically complex and/or technology-dependent patients —including patients requiring tracheostomy and ventilator care—while helping families navigate day-to-day care with consistency and compassion. This travel nursing assignment is based in Akron, Ohio (44302 area) .

• Setting: Dedicated pediatric home health / in-home care (not facility-based)
• Start Date: 03/09/2026
• End Date: 06/01/2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36

• License: Active Ohio RN license (required at time of submission)
• Education: BSN required
• Certifications: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum 6 months RN experience required in home health or acute care ; PICU experience required
• Required clinical skills (home setting): Tracheostomy care/management and ventilator care/management
• Preferred experience: Pediatric home health, medically complex and/or technology-dependent patients, developmental delays
• Documentation: EPIC experience preferred (not required)
• Other: Strong communication skills; basic proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word (or similar)

• Provide skilled, compassionate pediatric home health nursing care in the patient’s home environment
• Manage and monitor ventilators , tracheostomies , and related respiratory equipment; respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform focused assessments, administer medications/treatments, and follow individualized plans of care
• Educate and support families/caregivers on care routines, safety, and symptom escalation
• Document care accurately and timely in the designated charting system
