Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $52-54/Hrs.

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgeon, the Surgical Technician provides direct support during surgical procedures. The role involves preparing the operating room, arranging sterile instruments and supplies, and functioning as the scrub person throughout procedures, with a focus on Orthopedics and Neuro Spine cases.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
- Set up operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Function as scrub technician during surgeries.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments accurately and efficiently.
- Operate sterilizers and adjust operating tables and accessory devices.
- Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced OR environment.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Current National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
- Strong knowledge of surgical principles and sterile techniques.
- Orthopedic and Neuro Spine specialty experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with physicians and staff.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining patient dignity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment.
- Accountability and adherence to customer service and quality standards.
