The Anesthesia Technician works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.

• Works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.
• Provides ancillary duties and assists with patient care as directed.
• Assists Anesthesia staff by preparing supplies; calibrating and checking anesthesia equipment; and programming devices.
• Operates Cell Saver and other specialized equipment.
• Cleans and maintains designated areas and equipment.
• Other duties as required.

• Experience in clinical perioperative care is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree in a state approved Anesthesia Technology program preferred, Surgical Technology program, Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Certification:
  None.
• Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
• Years of experience supervising:
  None.
