Summary
The Intake Specialist receives all referrals coming into agency.
Responsibilities- Receives all referrals coming into agency.
- Researches all information needed to admit and verify payment coverage.
- Manages activities that contribute to a comprehensive program of quality assessment and improvement for clinical services.
- Develops programs to enhance organizational visibility and acts as a resource person for staff.
- Other duties as required.
- Experience in home care management is required.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing [BSN] is required;
Master's degree [MSN] is preferred. - Certification:
Registered Nurse licensure is required. BLS required. - Years of experience: 3-5 years preferred.
