We've partnered with a premier, Ohio-based Skilled Nursing organization to assist in finding a strong LNHA to lead a 99-bed, 5-Star overall rated facility located between Akron and Canton, Ohio.
What you will be doing:- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct overall operation of facility as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations
- With the Director of Nursing, identify and select department heads, and facility’s KPIs.
- Develop and execute a census and occupancy management strategy that results in improved census and improved fiscal health for the facility
- Serve as the facility representative and spokesperson to the public as well as in the professional arenas
- Lead and coordinate management team meetings to discuss priorities and develop solutions with facility leaders: census, collections, clinical health, survey readiness, customer service satisfaction, activity participation, etc.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members through scheduled, deliberate positive interactions using face to face, phone, or other means of communication.
- Other duties as assigned
- A valid, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the state of Ohio
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration a big plus!
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing home, or other related health care facility
- Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
