TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Akron, Ohio.

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Using computed tomography equipment and ensuring images are accurate for physician interpretation
• Preparing and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures
• Interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients for specific scan areas
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technology experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in CT
• State-specific licensing when required

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
