Akron Children's is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under a Provider and Licensed Nurse. This part-time role (16 hours/week) is onsite with a $2,000 sign-on bonus (taxable) available.
Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking vitals, phlebotomy, data collection, lab processing, and EPIC documentation. Experience in phlebotomy is preferred; however, completion of an approved Medical Assistant program and BLS are required.
