Operates ultrasound equipment to produce ultrasound studies in two different fields of study with the appropriate credential i.e. general ultrasound/vascular ultrasound or vascular ultrasound/cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography.

Registered in two of four fields of experience:
Adult Cardiac, General Ultrasound, Pediatric Echocardiography, and Vascular Ultrasound (RVS, RVT, RDMS, RCS, RDCS).

• Completion of a Sonography program from an accredited school of ultrasound technology.
• OR One (1) year of full-time ultrasound experience specific to field of posted position.
• Annually demonstrate completion of minimal procedure volume in each field necessary to meet accreditation standards.
• Basic Life Support.

• Ability to assume collaborative relationship with physicians and other allied health care professionals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, health care personnel, patients, families, and visitors.
• Ability to lift and transport patients and equipment.
• Ability to independently prioritize work and effectively resolve problems.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
