MRI Technologist - Hire on Incentive up to $20,000 (Job )

Full-time, 40 hours

Scheduled: 6am-4:30pm, rotating days off

Operates Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce MR images of patients. Ensures that all aspects of patient’s records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

• a. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Prefer cross sectional anatomy knowledge.
• b. Preferred graduate of approved school of MRI Technology and/or registered by the ARRT for MRI.
• c. Willing to cross train CT Technologist with intent to obtain didactic MRI courses of ones choosing.

• a. One (1) year MRI Technologist experience preferred.

• a. Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
• b. Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices.
• c. Ability to lift and position patients.
• d. Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g. select X-ray procedures, etc.).
• e. Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records management as directed.
• f. Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification)
• g. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy.
• h. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

• a. Heavy:
  Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
