American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures on pediatric and adult congenital heart patients, requiring ARRT registry and OH licensure.
Details- Pediatric cardiac catheterization lab serving newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
- Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablations
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive cardiac procedures including waveform and pressure gradient monitoring
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining par levels and general equipment troubleshooting
- Day shift schedule, 4x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Epic charting system experience preferred but not required
- All travelers expected to float to competent units
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program required
- ARRT Radiography registry required
- OH state license required at time of consideration - license required if applicable
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS certification required or must be obtained within one year
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required, 5 years preferred
- BSN required for consideration due to Magnet facility status
- Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac care preferred
- Healthcare experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists and cath lab team during complex procedures
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Facility will consider prior employees for return as travelers, provided they are not currently active employees
- Background check history is typically approved by the facility
