Summary:

Performs high quality polysomnography studies as prescribed by physicians according to established policy and procedures as well as evidence based medicine or board recommended best practice.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Knowledge

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency for all competencies required of a RPSGT/RST.
• Certification within one year of hire by a nationally recognized certification board and holds either the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
• Scoring experience preferred (day shift)

• RPSGT by the BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) and/or RST by the ABSM (American Board of Sleep Medicine)
• BCLS
• ACLS preferred
• Respiratory/Neurology background credentials preferred.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
