American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures on pediatric and adult congenital heart patients, requiring ARRT certification and BSN for this Magnet facility.
Details- Cardiac catheterization lab supporting newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablation procedures performed
- 4x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- All travelers float to competent units per facility policy
- EPIC charting experience preferred but not required
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program required
- ARRT Radiography registry required, with current OH state license required at time of submission
- License required if applicable
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS certified or ability to obtain within one year required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required, 5 years preferred
- BSN required for consideration due to Magnet facility status
- Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac patients preferred
- Sterile technique experience preferred
- Healthcare experience and proficiency in MS Office or similar software required
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures
- Function as a sterile scrub assistant and manage x-ray equipment during procedures
- Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients, communicating vital signs and EKG data
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment par levels and general troubleshooting
- Facility will consider prior employees to return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy
