Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. Works in a collaborative environment within a reputable healthcare facility in Akron, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Ensure proper patient positioning and safety throughout all imaging processes
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions
Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records
Assist with contrast injections and monitor patients for reactions
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
Maintain compliance with safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
Valid Ohio Radiologic License
BLS certification required
Skills:
ARRT (CT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified period
At least 1 year of experience in both CT and X-ray imaging preferred
