- Must have a PERMANENT Ohio license in hand at time of submission
- Compact licenses are accepted for any starts 1/1/23 and forward
- Minimum of 18 months PERMANENT experience in SPECIALTY applying for prior to travel - ONE reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is REQUIRED to qualify for submission
- For RNFA/CSFA positions only, ONE reference from a supervisor or physician is REQUIRED. Failure to include will result in rejected profile
- Required certifications need to be ACTIVE with nothing pending
** Other Compliance Details:** - PBDS Assessment is waived. ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required
- Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled - BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case
- Facility does not accept any license hits - EFFECTIVE 9/30/22:
Nurses and CSTs are EXEMPT from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. Exemption is temporary and will be honored until further notice
- All other travelers (aside from Nurses and CSTs) MUST BE NICOTINE FREE
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually - IMPORTANT - BCI/FBI prints are time sensitive:
Must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
- Facility has a strict DO NOT call policy - PAPRs will not be considered as an alternative for caregivers with facial hair except for those with an approved agency medical or religious exemption
- Badging and Fingerprinting:
Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints at the facility prior to their start date
- Extensions:
Candidates may extend with client for a period of 18 months; after which a 6 month break is required. Client may choose to defer the required 6 month break on a case-by-case basis
- Annual Hands-On Competency Requirement:
Travel Candidates who remain on a continuous contract with Client for a minimum of 1 year, or who return on a contract in the subsequent calendar year, are required to complete Cleveland Clinic Nursing Education Annual Hands-On Competency
- Travel Candidates who do not complete this requirement will be considered non-compliant and removed from the schedule until the Hands-on
- Competency is completed
- Modules:
Modules are billable, max of 4 hours, any additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and vary by specialty. Annual modules are billable up to 4 hours, applicable to travelers on contract for a continuous year
