Hospitality Internship Overview
The Hospitality Internship is designed for students enrolled in a Hospitality and Tourism Management degree or similar program seeking first‑hand experience working at a luxury hospitality resort. Participants will gain experience by rotating through Guest Services, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping for four weeks each, with opportunities to attend staff and management meetings.
Guest Services RotationThe intern will function primarily as a Guest Services Agent, assisting guests with luggage, property orientations, valet, and other requests. They will learn to ensure smooth arrival and departure, provide property introductions, and may shadow the Front Desk and a Lodging Manager to understand front‑of‑house operations.
Food & Beverage RotationThis rotation focuses on front‑of‑house fine dining operations. The intern will serve as a Food Runner, responsible for presenting, carrying, and running food, as well as clearing plates according to restaurant standards. They will receive training, shadow host teams, attend beverage classes, and shadow a dining manager.
Housekeeping RotationThe intern will assist housemen and housekeepers with daily duties, learning to maintain cleanliness of common areas and guest rooms, operating resort laundry, and understanding back‑of‑house operations.
