Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $15‑$17 per hour.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (No Weekends) – 7 AM – 3 PM or 10 AM – 6 PM.

Benefits: Employees may enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and the 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility is based on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for these benefits.

SUMMARY

The Lot Attendant is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue and parking reports while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests. When required, the attendant will properly park and retrieve guest vehicles, uphold parking policy and procedures, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Descriptive Statement(s) – % of Time

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, location staff and co‑workers; acknowledges and greets guests immediately and uses proper etiquette – 15%
  • Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure; uses proper telephone etiquette and assists guests with directions and inquiries – 15%
  • Provides information about surrounding area and main attractions while protecting guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements – 10%
  • Stacks vehicles when necessary using Towne Park standards; secures keys and retrieves vehicles safely – 20%
  • Collects and reconciles revenue accurately, issues receipts, categorizes tickets for audit, completes shift reports, and operates equipment competently – 20%
  • Obtains daily event and rate information, secures guest keys, maintains claim checks and archives, and produces inventory for billing – 20%
QUALIFICATIONS Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Licensure, Certification, etc.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Work Experience
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge
  • Customer service knowledge.
Skills
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Register/Computer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
  • Must be able to read and write standard English language.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence.
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
  • Basic arithmetic skills: add/subtract three‑digit numbers, multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s, perform operations with units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.
  • Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems.
  • Understanding of rates applicable to time passed.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit and stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle tools, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.

Lifting requirements: up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds constantly.

Working environment: majority of work outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold weather; weather protection may be provided but is not guaranteed.

Travel: up to 5% may be required.
