The Data Solution Architecture Consultant will be a member of the Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) team. This position is critical to the design and development of various data products and reporting streams, covering security, performance, scalability, and architectural guidelines for each solution and the organization. The incumbent engages and facilitates with stakeholders within Information Technology (IT) and the business to identify requirements and determine the appropriate data solutions.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Responsible for designing and building data products, legal data layers, data streams, algorithms, and reporting systems (e.g., dashboards, front ends).
- Ensure that the designed solution meets performance and scalability requirements while considering appropriate cost control.
- Link data product design with Dev Ops and infrastructure.
- Act as a reference within and outside the Analytics team.
- Serve as a technical partner to Data Engineers regarding digital product implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, eight or more years of experience in Information Technology.
- Three or more years of experience in Information Technology.
- In‑depth understanding of database structure principles.
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Expertise in SQL and Oracle.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to work in distributed systems.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
- Strong skills with SQL and No
SQL databases and applications such as Teradata, Redshift, Mongo
DB, or equivalent.
