Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. AWS Engineer in Enterprise Services Integration. The role requires 10+ years of AWS development, expertise in Node.js and Type Script, and experience designing cloud solutions and integrating them with enterprise systems.

Dallas, TX or Akron, OH (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Design, create, and manage cloud applications and services using AWS (SNS, SQS, Cloud Watch, Lambda), Node.js, and Type Script; ensure scalability, performance, and resilience.

Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines for AWS application deployments, using automation tools, AWS SDKs, and Node.js, and streamline deployments with offshore teams.

Monitor AWS service performance with Cloud Watch, deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, and audit resources to suggest improvements.

Collaborate with engineering, Dev Ops, and offshore development teams to deliver cloud solutions; participate in Agile Scrum activities.

Keep up to date on AWS services, Node.js, and Type Script best practices; evaluate and adopt new tools to improve efficiency and support cloud‑first strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of AWS development and architecture experience.
In‑depth knowledge of AWS services (SNS, SQS, Cloud Watch, Lambda), SDKs, and best practices.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Type Script for backend development.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
Experience with AWS container services (ECS, Fargate, EKS).
Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodologies.
Extensive experience coordinating offshore developers across time zones.
Certified AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer.
Experience with enterprise data integrations is a significant advantage.
