Job Description
IT Technician II – Site Services Support Huntsman is seeking an IT Technician II – Site Services Support to support the IT Division across multiple sites. This position reports to the Team Lead, IT SD Solution Delivery.
Job ScopeProvides technical services and support for business systems and applications. Supports site functions, roles, and initiatives, as assigned. Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications. Responsible for incident and request management using ITSM tools.

Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions or problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Maintains confidentiality. Requires regular presence in the workplace and ability to work extra hours if needed.
Essential Functions- Work collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- Assist other employees in accomplishing Huntsman company goals.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and complete required training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of related work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management.
- At least one industry‑standard certification:
Security+, CCNA, Network+, MCSE, or comparable. - Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft Office products.
- Correct written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to operate in a rapidly changing and complex technical environment.
- Commitment to standardization and continuous improvement.
- Strong customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of Huntsman’s policy and compliance framework, business processes, and reporting procedures relevant to the site(s) of operation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own initiative while contributing to a team.
- Relevant certifications:
Security+, CCNA, Network+, MCSE, or program-specific credentials. - Foundational knowledge in application analysis, debugging, functional analysis, programming, software design, testing, documentation, IDE use, and bug tracking tools.
- Regular presence in the workplace is required.
- Ability to work extra hours or overtime as needed to meet production objectives.
