Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Akron.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Install, configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls and servers.
• Maintain system backups and monitor data storage.
• Ensure the security of our network by implementing firewalls, encryption methods and other security measures.
• Install and upgrade software applications as needed.
• Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system issues.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop new solutions to improve network efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technology VMware.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: $1400 per month.
