Business Analyst

Signet Jewelers is the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry, operating more than 2,800 stores worldwide under iconic brands.

Location:

Dallas, TX or Akron, OH.

The Analyst is responsible for requirement gathering, business process design, development of use cases, testing, and post‑production support of business applications.

• Conduct business analysis, systems design, and project management for small‑to‑medium application development projects.
• Determine business functional requirements through interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop solutions that meet identified business needs.
• Assist with the change request process and recommend new tools and technologies to improve project performance.
• Research and implement best practices and market trends.
• Produce and maintain project deliverables, including entity model diagrams, detailed user stories, and technical stories.
• Monitor project activity, resources, and costs to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Communicate project status, scope, open items, risks, and issues to the project team.
• Develop and validate unit and system tests.
• Enforce standards and methodologies for quality, consistency, and accuracy across design, development, and implementation.
• Participate in technical walkthroughs to confirm designs meet requirements.
• Manage system support, identifying, tracking, and resolving issues with users, technical resources, and vendors.

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of business process workflows.
• Understanding of software development life cycle concepts.
• Certifications a plus.
